Overall this seems like a very capable soldering station. I have not really had it long enough to put it through its paces but I will on the next major soldering project. I do wish that FNIRSI would make it easier to find accessories and replacement parts on the website. I was looking for things like replacement sponges and the optional F210 handle and tips for same. FNIRSI could also use a store on AMAZON for US buyers.

After an initial problem and some difficulty getting to the right department regarding my initial complaint, I have now received a replacement HS-03 10Watt soldering iron. The replacement works well for electronic assembly tasks but lakes enough guts for soldering the brass and steel parts that I use in my model making work. However I was sufficient pleased with the iron to invest in its bigger brother the DWS-P2 100Watt version.
In standby mode this unit provides up to 8 hours use, maintaining the standby tip temperature at 100C and this raises the working temperature in a few seconds to as high 400+ C. and maintains this temperature when the bit is applied to the work piece. How long the battery supply lasts is very dependent on your usage but I have now been using the two soldering irons for over a month and I am very pleased with the result. The range of bits is particularly useful and they are quick and easy to change. I feel that I can recommend this product, it is very portable and appears reliable in use.

This is brilliant! I have a range of rechargeable soldering irons, but none of them are very good. This DWS-P2 is head and shoulders above them. It definitely has the power of my desktop soldering irons. I am now completely confident when working away from my bench.

Excellent little soldering station the Max option gave me two handles and multiple tips. The display is amazing the speed awesome. A nice buy. I’m hoping the charge / discharge times are as good, time will tell.
